RAWALPINDI – Security forces killed 41 terrorists linked to India-backed groups Fitna al Khwarij and Fitna al Hindustan. The operations were conducted on January 29, 2026, in Balochistan, said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The first operation took place on the outskirts of Harnai district following credible intelligence about militant presence. Troops engaged a terrorist hideout, resulting in the deaths of 30 Fitna al Khwarij militants. A large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered and destroyed at the site.

In a separate operation, security forces targeted another terrorist hideout in Panjgur district. They neutralized 11 Fitna al Hindustan terrorists linked to India, according to ISPR. The troops also recovered weapons, ammunition, and cash stolen during a Panjgur bank robbery on December 15, 2025. The killed terrorists were reportedly involved in multiple past acts of terrorism. These operations disrupted active networks and prevented further attacks in the region.

Meanwhile, in Mianwali, six terrorists were killed in a gun battle with the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD). Security forces conducted the operation after receiving intelligence about their location. Weapons and explosives were recovered from the scene, further strengthening security measures. The operations highlight ongoing efforts to eliminate extremist threats across Pakistan. Authorities emphasized the need for continued vigilance in terrorism-prone areas.

Checkpoints and patrols have been increased to maintain law and order. The military assured the public that all necessary steps are being taken to secure civilians. Officials urged local communities to cooperate with security personnel during operations.

The ISPR praised the professionalism and bravery of the troops involved. It stated that intelligence-based operations remain key to dismantling terrorist networks. The recent successes demonstrate the effectiveness of coordinated efforts between military and law enforcement agencies. Authorities vowed to continue targeting militants to ensure long-term stability in Balochistan. The operations sent a strong message that terrorism will not be tolerated in Pakistan.
